This time i've bought a LG Blu ray writer (burner) Model:BH08LS20 and the reason i have bought the LG is because the LITEON BD-ROM Model: DH4O1S (with the DVD-RAM option) firmware 2P53 is giving me some problems lately. After i've upgraded my Gamiing PC with a new motherboard you can see the MSI X48C Platinum motherboard in another video of mine and since i've upgraded my motherboard i have problems that the Liteon BD-ROM plays and reads some Blu Ray movies (not all of them just a few new ones) and it does read and play all kinds of DVD's and CD's but not all of my Blu Ray movie collection. So if i can find the receipt for this damn thing i'm gonna send it back for now i'm just use the LITEON for some blu ray movies dvd's and cd's. I do not recommend you to buy this LITEON BD-ROM as it is not even 6 months old and i'm having troubles with it. Get a little more cash and go for the expensive LG or Pioneer or some other brand. I think LITEON could make some good optical drives but this is my first blu ray rom from lite-on and i'm disappointed that it only lasted a few months. Alternative way to fix your USB: j.gs all of a sudden all my USB device stopped working kept getting "USB device not recognized 7" they would not detect anything plugged into them "USB not recognized"? I am going to show you how to fix this problem if it happens to you. In this video there will be no uninstalling of anything its a very simple fix. Steps: 1. Make sure its your USB ports not working and not your USB device not recognized. 2. Once you determined it's your USB ports goto your control panel then goto device manager and uninstall all your USB port driver / controllers 3. Restart your computer. 4. If your computer does not automatically install the drivers on startup. Go back to your control panel scan for new hardware. This will make the "USB device not recognized xp" goes away. 5. Restart computer 1 last time. 6. Plug in USB components and test if "USB device not recognized vista" is still popping up. If not then we have just fixed your USB ports! 7. Nexus 7 connects to Olympus C5050 camera via USB OTG using nexus media importer app. Copy or stream files from your camera and no need to lug a laptop with you on your holidays to transfer photos. How ever please note that all file systems are not supported. My 9y old camera has an xd card slot and an compact flash slot. The xd card is not read by the nexus media importer app even though the camera is sensed by the app as i get a pop up message saying unsupported file system as it is FAT12. But the compact flash images are sensed as it says FAT16 format. I mainly use the CF anyway as it is a larger memory card. So this gives new life to my 9y old camera. Plus bonus is that i dont need to lug my laptop with us anymore to transfer files or view images as i can now do it on my nexus 7 itself. I now have the Z12 with i5 core - i used the much easier method described below V UPDATE: did it wayyy easier this time. Go on ebay and buy a thinkpad T400 caddy, i got one buyitnow 12bux. Just open the z, and take out cd, and the thinkpad tray fits perfectly. There ia tiny 1.5mm x 5mm gab in one corner but its not a big deal. The screws wont fit and some folks drilled holes in the Caddy for placement. I didnt screw it in, it fits tightly enough when you put the keyboard on. Unless your laptop bashes the floor, it'l stay in. What you need: 1. This is the cord you need: www.newegg.com 2. 1 spare Sata power plug, you will need this to swap the original power plug on the cord to a Sata one since Sata HDDs take sata power. Just do this by connecting the corresponding color wires. Just open the z, and take out cd, and the thinkpad tray fits perfectly. There ia tiny 1.5mm x 5mm gab in one corner but its not a big deal. The screws wont fit and some folks drilled holes in the Caddy for placement. I didnt screw it in, it fits tightly enough when you put the keyboard on. Unless your laptop bashes the floor, it'l stay in. What you need: 1. This is the cord you need: www.newegg.com 2. 1 spare Sata power plug, you will need this to swap the original power plug on the cord to a Sata one since Sata HDDs take sata power. ***Just to help anyone else, Don't panic, turn of PC, take out battery, get a safety pin make it into al shape and get it round the back of the card and hook it out. Alas I pushed it in further trying to get it out with my fingers, further still trying to hook it out with a credit card, and then when I put a dvd in there it must have slotted into a hole. Hopefully people can learn from my mistake and not do it in the first place, or make a save with these tips if they have. If anyone has any ideas on how to get a SD card out of the optical drive of a Dell Stdio 1558, please message me !!! Very Stupidly I inserted my SD MEMORY CARD into the OPTICAL DRIVE CD/DVD of my new Dell studio 1558. The drive works fine but I was filming footage for friend and now the disk is stuck in my optical drive. I'm also worried that it being in my optical drive is not healthy, any advice very much appreciated

Windows 7 on an Asus EEE PC 701 4G
Windows 7 on an Asus EEE PC 701 4G Tube. Duration : 4.55 Mins.
Upgraded system to 2GB of RAM. Installed slightly modified version of Windows 7 to fit on the 4 GB SSD. Windows automatically installed drivers for everything except video and Asus ACPI drivers. The system still needs some tweaking but is running well. After installing Adobe Reader and Firefox, there is about 430 MB free on the SSD. I plan on further slimming this installation of Windows in the future.

This is a video on how to fix the updating problem on the PSP Custom Firmware (CFW) 5.50 GEN or Prometheus 4. If you ever get the error that says your running on 9.90 and there is no need to update, well heres how to fix that problem. Step 1: Take your PSP and hit the SELECT button on the XMB and your VSH menu will appear. Change your USB device to "flash 0" and then hit SELECT again to leave the VSH menu. Step 2: Plug in a USB cable and activate USB mode on the PSP and go to your My Computer (windows XP) or Computer (Windows Vista/7) and locate the removable drive for your PSP. Step 3: Locate the vsh folder and open it and then inside that folder locate the etc folder and open that and you should see a version.txt Step 4: open the version.txt document. Step 5: the first set of number should say "9.90" if you are having this problem. Change those numbers to "5.50" and then save and exit the version.txt document. Step 6: exit USB mode and go back to the XMB and hit SELECT and change your USB device to Memory Stick (MS) and SELECT to exit and save and your done. I was originally going to use XBOXHDM (1.9/2.2) but it wasn't working and I think that's because my hard drive shows as '/dev/sda/'. That process is old, requires a bit of knowledge, and is buggy as hell. No one even mentioned doing "fdisk -l" to see where the hard drive was located, which is a basic Linux command, therefore poo on whoever wrote that method. The final step using Xplorer360 isn't showed in here because by that point I was very frustrated. Basically you have to hotswap then boot into Windows and use a great free tool called Xplorer360. Once you have it you will also need to run Endure 3.0 or 3.1 to make the replacement dashboard. INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Find your Xbox's kernal version first! - Plenty of info on the web. 2) Download Ndure - xboxisozone.com 3) Run Ndure and choose correct options and Kernel: forums.xbox-scene.com 4) Download Xplorer360 - www.afterdawn.com 5) Open your computer and Xbox. Start your computer and hit the Pause key as soon as you can. Hit it a few times and make sure your paused at the first screen (your BIOS). Boot your Xbox and play a song from the hard drive. Pause it and swap the IDE cable to your computer Press any key on your computer to end the pause. Boot up into Windows and run Xplorer360. This cellphone has been the best I have used in my lifetime. 6 Months ago I started with a Motorola Droid, and was using it until receiving this phone. For those commenting that I should have built it myself: I have no problem constructing a PC. I ordered from Cyberpower for two reasons: at the time I had ordered it (the July 4th sale), this combination of hardware would have cost more than 0 more from Newegg, TigerDirect, or Fry's. CyberpowerPC was the best deal for this configuration at that time. Additionally, Cyberpower bench tests their product already built, and since I was picking it up, with no worries about in-shipment damage, the chances of having to RMA individual parts was lower. Being cheaper and less likely to have faulty parts, I would have been stupid to build it myself. (Specs and Price below) -This was a video I made of my experience buying from Cyberpower PC to hopefully provide some reassurance to PC shoppers. It really is true that the best value in a computer is one you build for yourself; you know exactly what's in it, what it's capable of, and what upgrade paths are available in the future. I had actually only heard of Cyberpower 2 weeks before purchasing from their site. I like to think I'm a savvy online shopper, and after diligent searching, Cyberpower PC just seemed to offer the best deal.
