[How To] Install A Solid State Drive (SSD) In A MacBook Pro - Install Guide
[How To] Install A Solid State Drive (SSD) In A MacBook Pro - Install Guide Video Clips. Duration : 9.65 Mins.

Removing and replacing a hard drive yourself is quite simple. Apple even provides instructions on how to accomplish this... The one thing people tend to worry about is possibly voiding their Apple Care by upgrading or replacing certain components in a MacBook Pro. Don't worry, Apple is completely fine with upgrading or replacing a hard drive or an SSD, so long as your repair or upgrade doesn't cause other issues. This is the same process for any of the newer model unibody MacBook Pros. The instructions to do this are even on Apple's website. I decided to upgrade my internal HDD to an SSD and make a short instructional video on the process. Please use this as a guide, but exercise caution when attempting this or any other repairs on your MacBook Pro. Internal components are extremely sensitive so be very careful. Also make sure you're in a clean and clear area, with plenty of time to install the drive. The entire process should take under 20 minutes. Remember to unhook your MacBook's battery to prevent any possible shorts in the logic board, and make sure your MacBook is powered down. Don't be scared, and have confidence. This is one of the easiest upgrades you can do to a MacBook aside ...

How to Softmod an Original Xbox, install XBMC, and install a bigger Hard Drive!
How to Softmod an Original Xbox, install XBMC, and install a bigger Hard Drive! Tube. Duration : 27.27 Mins.
This is a tutorial video on how to softmod your original xbox, install XBMC as your main dashboard (also how to update XBMC), and install a bigger hard drive (no soldering required). How to Softmod your original xbox: 1. Softmod Installer Deluxe (SID) -- This is the softmodding file that you'll need to download and pair with a Splinter Cell Linux save file on your xbox memory card. The version used in this tutorial is SID 5.0. Just search google. You can add these files to your xbox memory card with an Action Replay Kit (program and cord that allows you to connect an xbox memory card to your computer). 2. Filezilla -- a free FTP (file transfer protocol) program. This allows you to access your xbox hard drive (after it has been softmodded) via the Ethernet cord that is hooked up to the xbox between it and your home router. a. Host: IP address b. Username: xbox c. Password: xbox 3. Xboxhdm 1.9 -- This is the version that was used during this video. This is a file collection where you will transfer your eeprom.bin, C:drive, and E: drive from your xbox (via an FTP program) to create an ISO of your original xbox. You will use this ISO to copy your original xbox's hard drive onto a bigger hard drive. Note: these steps aren't necessary if you plan on keeping your original 8gb hard drive in your xbox. 4. DVD Decrypter -- the burning program I use to burn my xbox ISO onto a CD-R. 5. If you have trouble getting your older computer to boot up to the ISO, click on startup menu option ...

[How-To] Install Free McBoot on a PS2 Memory Card With A Gameshark (Simple!)
[How-To] Install Free McBoot on a PS2 Memory Card With A Gameshark (Simple!) Video Clips. Duration : 18.70 Mins.
REQUIREMENTS: -PS2 (I've only tried this on fat PS2s. Your mileage may vary on a slim.) -PC -Flash drive (maybe multiple ones if the first one you try doesn't work) -Playstation 2 Gameshark -Original, pressed Playstation 1 game -Playstation 2 memory card EDIT: People seem to be having trouble using the exploit utility. I'm not sure what the problem is; it still works for me. Right click the .exe file (PS2_Exploit_Utility5.0), click "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and ensure that "Run as administrator" is clicked. In addition, run the program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3). These are the options I'm using and the program opens right up for me. This video aims to help you install Free McBoot on a PS2 Memory Card. Installing this "exploit" allows you to run homebrew applications. Links: Download "PS2 Exploit Utility 5.0 Working" and "Free McBoot 1.8b Noobie Package" from here: sksapps.com Download "PS2 Save Builder 08x" from here: sksapps.com Download 7-zip here: www.7-zip.org Once Free McBoot has been installed, it's okay to delete the Newbie Package from your Memory Card. NEON725 sent me a message with the following: "Secondly, through some tinkering of my own I've discovered that the best way to get the GameShark to recognize the USB drive is to format it as "FAT (Default)", then set the "Allocation unit size" to 16 kilobytes. If this option isn't available, it's a strong possibility that the first USB drive you've chosen will not work ...

READ WHOLE DESCRIPTION!!! I show you how to install 6.39 PRO-B8 Lite Custom Firmware on PSP Go, but it works on every PSP system no matter what. 1g 2g 3g 4g 5g 7g and 9g. Every single one. Step one is update to OFW 6.39. Go to Sony's website for instructions on that. www.playstation.com it's the newest OFW so a download will be there too. Step two is download THIS: coldbird.free.fr Extract the folders: FastRecovery and PRO UPDATE. Copy those to the game folder on your PSP's System Storage (PSP Go), or Memory stick (others). Run PRO UPDATE and NOT fast recovery. Hold the L-Trigger and press X once the text appears on the screen. Once it's done installing, you'll press X again to boot to the CFW. If your PSP dies or turns all of the way off for some reason, use the FastRecovery to rehack your PSP instantly. You can delete the PRO Update file now, as you only need fast recovery once you've done the initial installation. ISO's go in the ISO folder on the root of your memory stick or system storage, if the folder isn't there, make it. it goes alongside PSP MUSIC VIDEO PICTURE, not inside any of those folders, it goes ALONGSIDE them.

Computer Tutorial :: How to Install Windows 7
Computer Tutorial :: How to Install Windows 7 Tube. Duration : 14.08 Mins.
Alright guys, I decided to put together another how-to video. This one is on how to install Windows 7 on a PC. For some this might be second nature, but it's geared towards the ones who have no idea or are not confident in doing it. Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor: www.microsoft.com If you have any questions, just leave a comment or send me a PM. I realize I said 1 GB was the minimum. Technically it is. If you were using Home Basic or Starter version of Windows 7, you could get by with 512 MB. But considering Home Basic is only sold on emerging markets (not sold in US) and starter is for extremely basic computers, you'll probably be using Home Premium or above. Minimum requirements for Windows 7 (Home Basic and above): 1 GHz Processor 32-bit or 64-bit 1 GB MB Memory (or 512 MB for Starter or Home Basic) 20 GB Hard Drive Space for 64-bit or 16 GB for 32-bit A graphics card that supports DirectX 9 graphics, has Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM(, Pixel Shader 2.0 hardware, and 32 bits per pixel and at least 128 MB of graphics memory. Those were the exact minimum requirements for Windows 7. The only ones I'd worry about are the hard drive, CPU, and memory. Odds are your graphics card has all that's listed (if you're computer is relatively new). Thanks!

Install Windows 7 From a USB Flash Drive or USB Hard Drive Video Clips. Duration : 2.53 Mins.
This video shows how to install Windows 7 (or Windows Vista) from a USB flash drive or USB hard drive. Copy the files to your USB device, use diskpart to make the partition active, and use bootsect to write the bootcode. Insert the flash drive into the computer and set it to boot from USB (refer to manual) - most newer computers should be able to boot to usb. Install Windows like you normally would from DVD. This method should also work if your computer has a card reader, such as for SD cards. If anyone tries this with an SD card, let me know if it works!
