Computer Tutorial :: How to Install Windows 7

Computer Tutorial :: How to Install Windows 7 Tube. Duration : 14.08 Mins.

Alright guys, I decided to put together another how-to video. This one is on how to install Windows 7 on a PC. For some this might be second nature, but it's geared towards the ones who have no idea or are not confident in doing it. Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor: www.microsoft.com If you have any questions, just leave a comment or send me a PM. I realize I said 1 GB was the minimum. Technically it is. If you were using Home Basic or Starter version of Windows 7, you could get by with 512 MB. But considering Home Basic is only sold on emerging markets (not sold in US) and starter is for extremely basic computers, you'll probably be using Home Premium or above. Minimum requirements for Windows 7 (Home Basic and above): 1 GHz Processor 32-bit or 64-bit 1 GB MB Memory (or 512 MB for Starter or Home Basic) 20 GB Hard Drive Space for 64-bit or 16 GB for 32-bit A graphics card that supports DirectX 9 graphics, has Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM(, Pixel Shader 2.0 hardware, and 32 bits per pixel and at least 128 MB of graphics memory. Those were the exact minimum requirements for Windows 7. The only ones I'd worry about are the hard drive, CPU, and memory. Odds are your graphics card has all that's listed (if you're computer is relatively new). Thanks!

How to Build a Computer with a Barebones PC (part 1)

How to Build a Computer with a Barebones PC (part 1) Video Clips. Duration : 7.38 Mins.

Today we're looking at what it takes to build a computer using a "barebones PC" from GIGABYTE. This is a PC that comes with the basic meat and potatoes (case, motherboard, and power supply) but you can customize the other components according to your needs. For this I chose an AMD processor for low power consumption, 2 GB of Patriot memory, 500 GB Seagate HDD, and a LG DVD reader/writer. Follow along to get a basic understanding of how the parts are installed. Part 1 includes: 1. Opening the barebones PC 2. Introduction to all the components 3. Installing the processor and fan 4. Installing the RAM module Watch annotations on for music credit info and link to Part 2. Disclosure: I am an employee of GIGABYTE Technology. This is a personal project but I am using my company's products in this video. Any views or techniques expressed are those of the video producer and not the company. (I'm just glad I didn't electrocute myself this time...)

Review: HP Mini 210 (210-1070NR) Netbook Computer

Review: HP Mini 210 (210-1070NR) Netbook Computer Tube. Duration : 15.02 Mins.

READ THIS DESCRIPTION FOR FUL REVIEW! This is a review of the HP Mini 210 series of Netbook Computers (the 210-1070NR in this review). What it includes: * 10.1" 1024x600 display * Intel Atom N450 CPU @ 1.67GHz * 250GB HDD (Same size, speeds vary by model) * 1GB DR2 SDRAM (1 Dimm, type varies by model) * 6-Cell Lithium-Oin Battery (6 to 10 hours lifespan) * Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 (SHARED memory) * Webcam * Multicard memory card/stick reader * 32-Bit Windows 7 Starter, 32-Bit First is the netbook itself. It is tiny, at 11" wide, 7" deep, and 1" thick. Pop on the battery, and the depth and thickness is .5" more. It also adds signifigant weight to the very like computer. This netbook WILL need a case. The plastic used for the body collects fingerprints, and scratches, very easilly. Mine already have deep scratches, and some came from removing the protective plastic from unneded applications (like the hinges, WHY?!) Since this is a computer intended for internet use, it primarilly was designed with enough horsepower to do just that, as well as smaller videos (dimension-wise). There are 3 USB ports, for your electronics, as well as a VGA OUT port, to use this on another monitor, or projector. If you don't have a Wi-Fi connection available, there is a Ethernet Port for a broadband modem connection. One thing to get used to, are the tiny keys on the keyboard, especially the arrows for games. You'll likely overshoot until you get used to that. Another control issue ...
